CA meets WA
I am just now recovering from my illness, work week and action packed weekend. Tourist activities involving the Space Needle, glass bridge, Dick’s, the gum wall, Starbucks and such. So happy Ebner decided to come visit, my body was not prepared because of my illness but I survived and can’t wait for him to visit again! So many good conversations and foolishness.

Ebner: Have you been standing there the whole time?
Me: No, I was just in my… My nose hurts.
Silence
Me: Wait, what did I just say?
Ebner: You said.. Wait, what did you just say?
Me: I think I read my text out loud to you in the middle of my sentence.
Laughter for the next few minutes.
2nd best:

Ebner: What is it about the name Dick’s?
Me: I don’t know but I feel so gross after eating Dick’s.
Laughter for the next few minutes again.
So much laughter this weekend! Much needed break from work and no social life. Back to work and trying to fit sleep into my schedule.
Phone dates
Me: You should give up shopping for clothes and no big purchases from ikea or something.
Friend: *Gasp*
Me: Did you just gasp…?
Friend: YES! That’s impossible!
We begin laughing for the next five minutes.
I love catch up phone dates. Perfect way to end the night.
I’ve come to terms that everything in my savings will go towards traveling each year even if it means I come back broke as fuuuudge. I want it to be August already. Looking at plane tickets and destinations. Ready to be around new cultures, languages, amazing cuisine and people.

Timing is the worst. Losing my voice during interview week. FML. Today will be spent drinking tea, finding new nail polish, cooking dinner for my bros and sounding like a beast with my harsh voice.
